Where is Panicale?

The medieval village of Panicale is situated in the centre of Umbria's "Golden Triangle" an area of outstanding beauty with Renaissance and Eutruscan art, surrounded by a variety of hilltop towns including Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Todi, Orvieto and Chiusi.

With a fifteen minutes drive to Chiusi you can join the motorway or rail link to Florence, Pisa, Lucca or Rome. Alternatively with a thirty minute drive into Tuscany you can visit Pienza (Cheeses), Montepulciano (Nobile wines), and Montalcino (Brunello wines), not forgetting many Spa towns and open baths for those aching bones.

A wealth of Art, History, Beauty and Good Food all washed down with wonderful local wines.
